Presença de contaminantes ou substâncias poluidoras no ar que interferem com a saúde e o bem-estar humano, ou causam efeitos danosos no meio ambiente. Entre estas substâncias podem estar GASES, MATERIAL PARTICULADO ou COMPOSTOS ORGÂNICOS voláteis. Qualidade do ar: Propriedade que permite identificar as condições atmosféricas, considerando-se os níveis de poluição presentes bem como a saúde, bem estar e segurança das populações.
